One of the delightful aspects of my recent trip to Williamstown was that I got an opportunity to take care of my ten-month-old grandaughter Alden. Before my shift began I made certain that her basic needs were met.
Then, it was off to the Williamstown public library, where I visited with my friend Mindy, the Children’s Librarian, while Alden explored.
She made friends with a very large stuffed puppy, selected several books to pull off the shelves and drop on the floor,
There were puzzles to conquer.
And stairs to ascend. And descend. And ascend. And descend.
And, at the end of a busy afternoon, there was time for a nap in the BOB.
She loved her visit to the library, and was a perfect angel. I’m available for babysitting duty any time!
